A. Walking around San Francisco, there's a lot of dumb tech ads, trying to sell to C suites at software companies. They're no fun to look at, and don't make sense. These ads probably won't make sense, but hopefully they'll be a lot more fun, and at a minimum less dystopian.
A. If you and your friend sit there on your computers and one of you gives in and whips out your wallet, you'll notice on the other computer numbers right away. All numbers and other ad related elements are updated live every second. If the price goes up, a time slot changes etc. that means someone somewhere just decided to pay to put some 5mb image on that page for at least ten minutes.
A. HTMX + Tailwind + a bunch of Cloudflare stuff + Stripe. It's closed source because I believe security through obscurity works sometimes.

I promise I won't change the image in visual way, but I reserve the right to make ads with them, that may contain other images that have or will be displayed on this site, that may appear on websites and in locations that I'll try to keep as PG as possible. Unless the price gets sufficiently high, then I may go off the rails, who knows, but I'll warn those who have purchased an ad before I do anything crazy.
A. No. Unless something on our end breaks and your ad doesn't get at least ten minutes then sure.

A. You can do whatever you want with this site as far as ads go, just don't be malicious. Feel free to use anything on this website, except the actual images unless you have the rights to them. Go nuts. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or want to drop us a few bucks.
A. If you make good faith reports about ads, we'll read and consider them. If you give a good explanation about how this ad is harmful to an individual or a class of people, or some proof you own it and didn't give permission, we'll probably take it down.
